Unemployment in Fayette County is up for the second straight month with the release of the preliminary December 2012 numbers Friday by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
The unemployment rate in the county increased to 11.5 percent from the November preliminary and revised unemployment rates of 10.9 percent.
Fayette County ranks third in the state behind Vermillion County at 12.1 percent and Sullivan County at 11.8 percent. Dubois County ranks lowest in the state with a 5.5 percent rate ………
