Tree pruning gone bad … will it live?

It seems like Mayor Urban has ordered the Connersville Street Department to hack off the tops of every city street tree within the community so we thought we would be blaming them for the damage to this tree down town … but not this time.

As it turns out, this tree which is growing on City property directly in front of the new sign at Union Savings and Loan, was not trimmed by city employees after all.  According to bank officials the work was done by their personal landscaper, Harold Mathews … also known locally as CTV3′s “the Garden Doctor.”

Bank management told towncow, “the tree will be fine.” So … what do you think?
